The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Catching Fire is the second movie of the Hunger Games series. In fact, it is the direct continuation of the first movie. After Katniss won the 74th Hunger Games with Peeta Mellark. As winners, they go on the "Victor's Tour", going around districts and speaking to the people of each districts. President Snow doesn't like the situation, with some rebels arising in some areas. Therefore, he held the 75th Hunger Games, called The Quarter Quell. Things are different now, as Katniss and Peeta no longer face newcomers but winners of the previous Hunger Games.

The movie runs for 2hours and 26 minutes and is rated PG-13.

The movie is well-directed. Elements in the movie are well organized, forming a stronger foundation for the Hunger Games series. Overall, it is better than the first movie. It has received many good comments, especially with a very unpredictable ending.

Additionally, the casts have displayed remarkable performances. The spotlight goes to Jennifer Lawrence. As the main character, she showcased incredible acting skills, coupled with an awesome storyline.
